Iconic doesn't do it justice. Standing in front of the Charging Bull at sunrise, with no crowds and the FiDi towers behind it, is one of the most memorable moments of any NYC trip. Arturo Di Modica's guerrilla drop of this thing is one of the best art stories in the city.
April 2026Came here at 6:30 AM and had it almost entirely to myself. The detail in the sculpture is incredible up close — the tension in the muscles, the veins, the expression. Much more powerful in person than in photos.
March 2026The bull itself is spectacular. However, the Bowling Green area gets absolutely packed by midday. Go early, go on a weekday, and you'll have a genuinely moving experience instead of a crowd-jostling photo op.
